Cookie
policy
This site sets no cookies. One local entry remembers a dismissed notice. That is the whole inventory.
Summary
USSE Tech sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising network, no social plug-in, no embedded video and no third-party script on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local entry that remembers you have already seen the cookie notice.
Because nothing here is used for tracking, profiling or advertising, no consent banner is required and none is imposed on you. The notice you may have seen is informational and dismissing it is optional.
What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage is a related mechanism: the browser keeps a value for a site, but unlike a cookie it is never transmitted to the server.
Both are covered by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, which requires consent unless the storage is strictly necessary for a service the user has explicitly requested.
What this site stores
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
usse.cookie-notice | Local storage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again. | Until you clear your browser data | First party |
That is the complete list. It holds the single value acknowledged, it contains nothing that identifies you, it is never sent to our server and it is never read by anyone else.
What this site does not use
- Analytics or measurement cookies of any kind.
- Advertising, retargeting or conversion cookies.
- Social network buttons, share widgets or embedded feeds.
- Third-party fonts, scripts, tag managers or A/B testing tools.
- Fingerprinting, session replay or heat-mapping.
Server logs are not cookies
Loading any page necessarily creates a server log entry at our hosting provider, containing your IP address and the request details. That is a technical necessity of the HTTP protocol rather than a cookie, and it is described in the privacy policy.
How to control browser storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage for any site from your browser settings. Blocking storage for this site has no effect on it beyond the cookie notice reappearing.
- Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies › See all site data and permissions.
- Safari — Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data.
- Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions › Manage and delete cookies and site data.
If that ever changes
Should we later introduce analytics or any non-essential storage, we will publish it in the table above and ask for your consent before it is set, with rejecting as easy as accepting. Until then, this page can be read as a complete inventory.
